Surgery clinics

We offer a range of clinics and services at the surgery. There are some tasks you can do, such as health reviews, using our online forms.

We run specialised clinics every morning as follows:

Monday

Asthma/ Diabetes/ Hypertension/ Smear
09:3am to 12:30pm.

This clinic is run under the supervision of the doctor.

If you have been advised by the surgery to submit an annual review of your asthma symptoms, please use our online Asthma review form.

If you have been advised by the surgery to submit your blood pressure readings on a regular basis, please use our online blood pressure review form.

Tuesday

Immunisation/Vaccination Child Health Development clinic
10am to midday.

The practice nurse under the supervision of the doctor runs this clinic. These appointments are booked through the Child Health Department Vaccination programme. Minor coughs and colds do not prevent your child from been vaccinated. The community health visitor does the child development checks and reviews.

Wednesday

9:30am to 12:30pm

This clinic is run under the supervision of the doctor.

Thursday

Antenatal clinic
9:30am to 11:30am.

The midwife, under the supervision of the doctor, runs this clinic.

Friday

Asthma/ Diabetes/ Hypertension/ Smear
9:30am to 12:30pm.

This clinic is run under the supervision of the doctor.

Family planning and sexual health

Family planning advice is given as and when it is required. We provide various types of contraceptive pills, including the morning after pill and hormone injections. Confidential advice for under 16 year olds is available in confidence. Advice on termination of pregnancies is also available both from the doctor and the practice nurse who are available to advise during normal surgery hours and the service is confidential.

Information leaflets

Disease management leaflets, which can provide information on a wide range of conditions and ailments, can be picked up from the reception.

Travel health
